My Objective: Introduce and expose chess through lessons and exercises.

 

Chess Experience:

I began playing chess during my early college days (1968). 

I have played over 1000 matches [won some and lost some].

I have played/taught chess internationally on a missionary trip to Guyana, Africa.

I have played/taught chess at Oak Hill Youth Correctional Center [working directly with the inmates].

I have taught at District Heights Elementary Career Day.

I am a Co-Champion winner of a local chess tournament.

I have attended several U.S. Chess Federation tournaments in the DC Metro area.

I am founder of Tennis BY C.H.O.P.

Chess collaborations with Eagle Chess Academy, and Yes, I Can Play Chess.

I participate in Chess games at various locations [i.e. U.S. Chess Center, Borders, and Starbucks]

I am currently teaching chess in both public and private schools, as well as in senior citizen settings. [Ages vary at these sites ranging from 6 yrs old to adult.]
